Lucky Leaf brings its traveling expo series to the Philadelphia area for two days at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. The format is the same one the organizers run in Texas, Minnesota, Virginia and other developing markets: exhibitor booths on the main floor, with seminar rooms running panels on cultivation, retail, compliance and ancillary services throughout both days. Pennsylvania is still a medical-only state, which shapes the crowd. You get current medical operators, businesses positioning themselves for eventual adult-use legislation, and a fair number of people who are simply trying to figure out whether this industry is for them. For that last group, Lucky Leaf offers a paid Pre-Show Crash Course that covers industry basics before the floor opens. Show hours are Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. Tickets are cheaper than the big national trade shows, and the scale is more approachable, so it works well as a first industry event.
